Its functional design is made of high-resistance plastic and stainless steel. It weighs 1.2 kilos, but is capable of supporting up to 16. It costs $69,990.

One of the situations that no one told them about when they became parents was precisely the great parade of large and heavy accessories that must necessarily be carried with the baby every time he moves with his family.

“We had to take the car, a walker, the same chair for the trip, it was crazy,” say Cirilo's parents Olimpia Lira and Tomás Rodríguez. But far from resigning themselves to this scenario, this couple decided to resort to their good taste in design to provide a more ingenious solution to this problem.

“We set out to create a bus chair to eat that was foldable, light and easy to transport, something very difficult to find when we just started with the first Clak designs” This is a brand that after two years of testing finally found the materials and the correct design to make a chair made of stainless steel and high-resistance plastic, says Lira, who is an architect by profession.

How does it work?

Once it is anchored to the table or surface, this chair remains fixed thanks to the same weight of the infant. It weighs 1.2 kilos, but is capable of carrying children up to six months old or the equivalent of 16 kilos. It is non-slip, can be assembled and disassembled in seconds, and since it is made of plastic, it is super easy to clean. We are currently selling online through the Clak website (www.miclak.cl) or on our social networks such as Instagram @miclak.cl. It costs $69,900, clarify these entrepreneurs who showed us how the chair works during the Baby Expo.

How wide should the table be for it to anchor correctly? It should be between 1 and 4 cm wide at most. At the moment we only work on the chair in red but we are considering bringing out other shades because it has been excellent. I think that parents, in addition to the comfortable design, have also understood the contribution of this chair to participatory parenting, of bringing the child to the table with the family.
